Sourcing Images
The images shown on Zoptiks have varying copyright/licenses set by the relevant image owner. Many of the photos on Zoptiks are public domain or have licenses that permit re-distribution or third-party usage. Still, many of the images have strict copyright and may not be reproduced or redistributed.
As of June 11th, 2020 we use the following vendors to source high-quality photographs, videos, augmented reality models, and information:

Websites that provide animal information, and are therefore, in competition with Zoptiks are strictly forbidden from sourcing our content to form complete articles. Using quotations as a small part of a unique article is permitted under copyright law, however creating articles based solely on quotations from Zoptiks is strictly forbidden and is considered a serious breach of our copyright.
The use of our content in commercial products such as apps, games and books is strictly forbidden without prior written consent. Whilst copyright law permits personal use; please keep in mind that content for personal usage may not be viewed by any third-parties. A personal website that is online and web-accessible is not permitted to use copyrighted content for personal use because the website is accessible to others.
Zoptiks employs anti-plagiarism software and techniques to identify abuse of our content. When our copyright has been breached, we will take appropriate legal action to protect our intellectual property.

In this situation, Zoptiks has 3 ways of proceeding.
1) Zoptiks adds the appropriate copyright information on the relevant content
2) Zoptiks removes the content from our platform within 5 business days of the dispute resolution.
3) Zoptiks licenses the content from the content producer for market prices or upon a mutually beneficial agreement.
In this situation, Zoptiks has 3 ways of proceeding.
1) Zoptiks adds the appropriate copyright information on the relevant content
2) Zoptiks removes the content from our platform within 5 business days of the dispute resolution.
3) Zoptiks licenses the content from the content producer for market prices or upon a mutually beneficial agreement.
